Flurries continued into the evening and dropped another 4” on the resort overnight, pushing us up to 34” of snow in the past week! These past two storm systems increased our season total by over 30% and worked wonders for terrain throughout the mountain. It allowed us to expand operations yet again and open the frontside of Lightning Ridge yesterday, providing fresh turns throughout the day on some incredible terrain.
We likely received the last snowfall from this storm, and the clouds will start to clear today, making way for mostly sunny skies with a high of 15°. A crisp, bluebird day is the perfect way to start the weekend, so head up and enjoy all of the fresh snow across the mountain. Coverage is looking better after receiving nearly three feet of snow throughout the week, and it’s going to be a great morning to get after it.
Please remember, even with the fresh snow, we are operating under early-season conditions. Expect unmarked obstacles beneath the snow, and respect your fellow riders by skiing and riding with caution.
Additionally, all in-season uphill travel will remain closed until conditions permit the opening of our Adventure Terrain. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
